Golf Outing Planned – Contact Steve Palmer – ASAP
The Warrior Ice Hockey team has scheduled a golf outing for April 24th at Glen Brook Golf Club in Stroudsburg. Tee time is 1:30, with a 12:30 check in time. There will be a buffet as part of the outing which will include grilled chicken, hot dogs, hamburgers, pasta salad, barbeque baked beans and Chef’s Choice Dessert. El Presidente Steve Palmer will be contact person and will record all entries (single player to foursomes welcome). The cost for parents and friends is $90.00 per player; ESU students and alums $70.00 each. Price includes cart, buffet and prizes. Cost for buffet only is $30.00.
Checks should be made out to ESU Ice Hockey Club and mailed or given to Steve Palmer with the names of those playing: Steve Palmer 40 Hallet Street, East Stroudsburg, PA. 18301. Steve Palmer’s email: SCP3379@esu.edu Need to confirm number playing with Glen Brook Golf Club by April 20th. We are looking for sponsors for each of the eighteen holes.
Alumni Game set for Lehigh Valley Ice Arena
The annual Warrior Alumni hockey game will be played April 17th at 3:45. Present and former team members are welcome to show who still has “game”. Last year the “old” men won the game in a shootout. Alums can contact Brian Weber for more info. Brian’s contact is on the Alumni link to the right.
Beautiful Weather, Relaxing Setting for Warrior Banquet
It was the nicest weather we have had for our end of the season get together. As usual, the food was delicious and plentiful. A big thank you to everyone that helped out with entrees, desserts, and beverages; and the setting up and breaking down of the hall. This event has been successful due to the wonderful support of the Warrior families. Thanks again for making it such a pleasant afternoon. (P.S. Any player that did not receive a hi-lite DVD and would like one can see Frank Duggan at the alumni game.)
